Selective Auditory Attention Workshop
Learn to improve your selective auditory attention skills. In this workshop participants learn to heighten their focus and awareness in relation to sound, connecting to the whole space/time continuum. Pauline Oliveros and her deep listening practice inspired this workshop.

"After a collective workout, the participants sit down for a moment of selective auditory attention. They will notice that silence does not exist: there is always movement, there is always life." Kruit researched Pauline Oliveros and her practice: "Oliveros is a key inspiration regarding the following part of the exercise, in which one could claim that by enhancing the ability to be aware of the sounds that surround us, and by letting go of our narrow self-focus, and by being fully present in the moment, we can contact that which resonates beyond the collective knowledge of humanity. In a time in which everything is accelerating, we have started to listen selectively and have thus lost contact with the greater whole."
