"Tell me how you party and I'll tell you who you are!" - Oskar Schlemmer

The Neuhaus opening is a more-than-human party in the spirit of the legendary costume balls at Bauhaus! Make your own mask, expect the unexpected and don't limit yourself to human clothes, because the dress code is 'multispecies'!

Neuhaus: 100 years after Bauhaus | Neuhaus: temporary academy for more-than-human knowledge | Neuhaus: multispecies worldbuilding

You will be welcomed at Neuhaus by more-than-human hosts via The Performance Bar, there will be a botanically sensible drink provided by Bloesembar, snacks by EAT ART collective, as well as an edible coral sculpture by Studio Martijntje Cornelia.

Arriving without a costume or mask? Don't worry: the Mona Lisa's will help you make a more-than-human mask or a multispecies decoration in the run-up to their Neuhaus Affenkäfig - driedaagse fantasietraining!

There are performances by dance students from Codarts, Iris Woutera Producties a performance of their 'Deform' which blurs the boundaries between humans, objects and nature, DJ's Jetti & Post provide the music at a psychedelic-futuristic experience in the basement, and finally the music at the ball is provided by Oberman and Konduku from Nous'klaer Audio.
