Scale Travel
In this series of workshops, participants experience travel through different scales of time and space. This way of looking and experiencing can help to construct stories that can bridge the binary gap between human and non-human life, between living and non-living matter. The workshops are intended to provoke discussion, stimulate the imagination, and foster collective learning and a sense of community.
Scale Travel will expand on three scales as starting point, each scale will be discussed, experienced at different dates:
16 June: Microbial Scale: Cultivating body odor
23 June: (Im)Mobile Scale: Grow yourself towards the sun
30 June: Between Scales: Travel manual Participants are encouraged to take all three workshops as they belong to an organic whole, but this is not required.
Special notice: For the first workshop, please do not wear deodorant prior to arrival on site. If possible, no shower 24 hours before.

June Yu
June Yu is trying to live and work arbitrarily. After making study/career switches for the past 10 years, she is now engaging with the arbitrariness seriously. _If I say that knowledge is arbitrary, I shouldn't try to prove it. _When she is not so serious, she likes to experiment--mostly in her head, some end up leaving tangible traces. She graduated from ArtScience KABK in 2018, and is currently a design mentor for teams participating in Lucitopia Rural Design Challenge in China.
